Stine Aas is a furniture designer based in Bergen. She holds a MA from Bergen Academy of Art and Design and started her own studio in 2015. Her work ranges from furniture, lighting, home accessories and textile design for Norwegian and international brands such as Herman Miller (US), Edits (CA), Bebo (SE) and Northern (NO).

Functional tools and cultural artifacts, the candle holder has appeared in countless forms and variations. What drew me to it is its relationship to ritual, the small, daily act of lighting a candle, and the larger, ceremonial moments it marks. By combining multiple pieces into clusters, the object can scale with the occasion. The name Klados is Greek for a branch or shoot growing outward from a single stem
